Matthew P. Lawlor has served as Chairman and CEO since March 1989. Mr. Lawlor co-founded Online Resources and serves as chief executive officer. He has over 30 years of financial services experience, starting with Chemical Bank (now JPMorgan Chase) where he headed a consumer banking division, and its international investment company. Mr. Lawlor's career also spans venture capital, project engineering and service as a presidential exchange executive with the White House in 1980. He is active in industry affairs, and is founder of the e-Financial Enablers Council, a roundtable of Internet banking and payments executives. Mr. Lawlor holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Harvard University.
Ray Crosier has day-to-day operating responsibility for Online Resources, reporting to the chief executive officer. He manages the Company's three major operating divisions and its banking technology unit. Crosier also serves on the Board of Directors (executive committee) for the Electronic Funds Transfer Association, an inter-industry trade association dedicated to the advancement of electronic payments. Crosier has over 25 years of management experience in payment systems, transaction processing and financial services technology. He rose through the ranks to become vice president, sales and customer service for First Data's TeleCheck division. He joined Online Resources in 1996 as senior vice president of sales and also served as executive vice president of client services. He has served as President & COO since 2001. Crosier is a graduate of the University of Virginia.
Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Cathy Graham has financial management and corporate administrative responsibility for Online Resources, reporting to the chief executive officer. Graham has 20 years of experience in the banking and technology fields, and a history of building businesses via strategic acquisitions. Graham previously served as CFO of VIA NET.WORKS, Inc., where she negotiated the acquisition of 26 companies in 14 countries over a 24-month period. Prior to VIA NET.WORKS, Graham was Vice President of Finance and Investor Relations Officer for Yurie Systems and headed the transition team after the sale of the company to Lucent Technologies. Graham has also held financial executive positions with Smith Barney, First National Bank of Maryland and Maryland National Bank. Graham holds an M.B.A. from Loyola College in Maryland and a B.A in economics from the University of Maryland.
Ronald J. Bergamesca
Executive Vice President & General Manager, Integrated Banking Services
Ron Bergamesca oversees Online Resources' Integrated Banking Services division, reporting to the chief operating officer. He is responsible for the Company's full service banking relationships, which integrate its suite of Internet account presentation, payments, relationship management, professional services and software. In addition to acting as General Manager, Bergamesca heads the division's Relationship Management Services unit, which includes the Company's consumer marketing programs and its 7x24 call center. Bergamesca was formerly a vice president with CUC International (later Cendant Corp.), where he managed the nation's largest credit card protection program. For 10 years he was a general manager at MBI, Inc., a leading direct marketer of heirloom collectibles. Bergamesca holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Lafayette College and an MBA from MIT's Sloan School of Management.
Sheila Narayan
Executive Vice President & General Manager, Banking CSP Payments
Sheila Narayan leads Online Resources' Banking CSP (consumer service provider) Payments division, which provides bill payment and related services to many of the largest U.S. banks and a host of strategic and marketing partnerships. The division also provides bill payment services to the Company's full service clients, which are managed by the Community Bank & Credit Union division. Prior to Online Resources, Narayan was a strategic payments consultant and partner at First Annapolis, where she spent more than 10 years developing business and market strategy, leading strategic implementations, and managing client relationships for some of the largest U.S. and international banks, credit card issuers and payment processors. Narayan was recognized for financial excellence by Digital Equipment Corporation, where she conducted a 3-year intensive financial development program. Narayan holds a bachelor's degree from Bryant College and a master's degree from The Wharton School.
Robert R. Craig
Executive Vice President and General Manager, eCommerce Services
Robert Craig heads Online Resources' eCommerce division, reporting directly to the chief operating officer. He is responsible for biller and card & credit services, which serve more than 2,200 billers and biller endpoints, card issuers and creditors. Prior to this position, Craig served as head of business development for First Data Corporation, where he headed sales, marketing, account management and product development for remittance processing clients, including major corporate billers and card issuers. In 1996, he co-founded REMITCO, a remittance processing company serving millions of consumers in the credit card, telecommunications and utility industries. REMITCO was acquired by First Data in 2000. Craig has also held senior management positions at Corestates Bank, now part of Wachovia Bank, and in JPMorgan Chase's global treasury and commercial divisions. He holds a Bachelor's degree from Lafayette College.
Paul Franko manages the Banking Technology Services division of Online Resources, a specialty business unit reporting to the chief operating officer. He has responsibility for technology development and technology-based operations for the Company's banking and credit union clients. In addition, he serves a coordinating function as the Company's Chief Technology Officer, overseeing corporate and divisional technology-based strategy and plans. Franko was previously president of Computer Business Associates, providing design, programming and technical expertise in data base development, operating systems and networks. He also was director of database administration for Sallie Mae. Franko holds a bachelor's degree from Boston College.
Daniel M. Thomas
Senior Vice President, Strategic Development
Dan Thomas is responsible for the strategic development of Online Resources, reporting to the chief executive officer. In this capacity, he has leadership responsibility for the Company's e-commerce initiative, including the integration of the Company's real-time PINless payments capabilities with the former Princeton eCom's payment services. Prior to joining Online Resources in 1996, Thomas spent eight years with ARINC, an airline-owned network services company where he was responsible for payment processing of airline credit cards, check authorization, and other fraud prevention systems for international and domestic airlines. Prior to that, he spent twelve years with McDonnell Douglas Payment Systems Company in a number of key product and technical development roles. Thomas earned his bachelor's degree in Information Systems Management and recently his master's degree in Management & Technology from the University of Maryland.
